A unique arts centre that aims to foster creativity and collaboration in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. With a calendar full of events and workshops, The Godown welcomes visitors from all walks of life to celebrate Malaysia’s rich local culture and contemporary works. The Godown has celebrated local and international artists and collectives notably Jailaini Abu Hasan (JAI), Urban Seni by Urbanscapes, Kuala Lumpur Arts Book Fair 2021, Buka Buku Open Books and Shaman Tearoom.
Most recently The Godown has organised The Godown Artists Market (TGAM) which happens on the last weekend of every month. TGAM highlights up and coming artists coupled with performances, workshops and more. This initiative is supported by thinkcity.
