Malaysia’s hit comedy about love gone wrong lands in Kuala Lumpur for four shows only, 2–4 October at klpac.
Big Nose Productions, in collaboration with klpac, brings The Relationsh*t Chronicles to klpac this October. It’s standup style 360-degree interactive theatre that consist of nine short, sharp comedy stories inspired by true relationships, so you can’t escape the drama. The pickup lines, the gaslighting, the situationships you can’t explain to your mother. It’s the kind of funny that makes you laugh, then slowly turn to look at your partner.
First staged in Penang in 2025, the show arrives in KL with a brand new, all-local cast and fresh stories written for the KL Edition.
“We have all sat in a car after a date thinking, what was that? This show takes that exact feeling and turns it into ninety minutes of comedy,” says director and co-writer Karam Tabba. “You will recognise your partner up there. Then you will recognise yourself.”
“Penang fell in love with these stories, and now it’s KL’s turn,” adds writer Fa Abdul. “It’s much easier to admit your relationship is a mess when you’re laughing about it.”
