HELP Chinese Stage Play 10 “The Ballad of Narayama”
“The Ballad of Narayama” is a story that revolves around the world that has been devastated by the hand of human throughout 2500 years from now. The environment finally struck back causing everything went back to the form of ice age. Severe blizzard once again dominated the earth. Millions and billions of living things were covered by thick snow. As the harsh freezing weather, no plant was able to survive, neither did animals. Due to the scarcity of food supply, having a satisfying meal was unimaginable. In the remote northern valley, among the few remaining human tribes, there was a small village with a dozen families, and the smoke was still rising. The village was named after the mountain at the rear of the village, so called “Narayama”…
This is a family themed drama that highlights on familial love and connection. Organized by HELP University Chinese Cultural Society, Seedism Art as guiding unit, and St. John Ambulans Malaysia – Kawasan Pahang Tengah as beneficiary party.
