Nadi which means pulse in both Malay and Sanskrit is the perfect word-symbol that showcases the embodiment of different cultural forms by Imran Syafiq, and how it continues to inform his life and practice. The performance will present this intimate relationship between the mind and body of Imran.
This is his first solo performance subsequent to his Arangetram debut in 2017. Under the guidance of Shri Shankar Kandasamy and Shrimathi Vasuki Thiruchittampalam from the Temple of Fine Arts Kuala Lumpur, Imran will perform a repertoire that consists of nritta (pure dance), nritya (combination of pure dance and expressive dance) and natya (expressive dance) items.
The performance duration is approximately 60 minutes and is presented by ASK Dance Company in collaboration with The Temple of Fine Arts Kuala Lumpur.
