Delia Li’s beautiful words are lifted from the page and transported to the stage by Jamie Teng and Tan Li Yang with specially composed music by Jacqueline Teng & Toh Shir Ling, and lighting designed by Yusman Mokhtar.

inner thoughts marked the very first time Delia Li’s poems were performed to a live audience. Originally from China, she has long since called Malaysia her home. To her life is like a dream, it should be full of sweetness and smiles. And one must be grateful to each flower, each tree, each cat, each person as they made us rich, cry, laugh and grow.

Let Delia Li’s calm words soothe your soul as we attempt to heal after such a difficult year.

由艺人馆全民剧场呈献，吉隆坡表演艺术中心为支持单位，《心声》诗歌音乐会将在2022年四月重演，带来女诗人李美的13首诗。由Joe Hasham OAM 执导，本地音乐家杜雪菱和邓絜予为诗歌谱曲，携手演员陈立扬及古筝手邓旭倪以朗诵吟唱的方式表达其情景与内蕴，让诗歌所蕴含的情感更为细致、色彩更加丰富。悠扬的诗歌响起，再搭配Yusman Mokhtar 灯光设计，仿佛让我们沉浸在诗人笔下的生活及情感之中。

诗歌像一个锚定住李美的心，让她在这纷乱的世界，以文字表达着她的精神存在。李美的诗歌灵感源自于大自然与寻常生活中的点滴，许多事情在我们身上不经意的留下烙印，这彷佛成了一部字典，待时机成熟时，它们串成了文字蹦出来。每一首诗就像是李美的“心声”，她以朴实诚挚的文字记录生活，以诗抒发个人情感，以诗留住生活的美好。对李美来说生活就像一场梦，应该充满着甜蜜和笑容。我们必须感谢每一朵花，每一棵树，每一只猫及每一个使我们变得富有、哭泣、欢笑和成长的人。
