Sensory Wayang Kulit is a virtual performance with Audio Description is to introduce the traditional art of Wayang Kulit to the visually impaired and blind community by using Audio Description. The final performance will include a blind and visually impaired participant performing as Tok Dalang and also one visually impaired musician that will be performing Wayang Kulit background sound.
This project is in collaboration with JKKN Kelantan, Dialogue In The Dark Malaysia, Persatuan Sri Cendayu and Kakiseni.
We are hoping that this project is able to be a stepping stone to create more arts and cultural activities that can be accessed by the visually impaired and blind community in Malaysia.
