A production by Teen Theatre Project
Presented in English and starring the ensemble members of The Teen Theatre Project, a programme by PKK Tuanku Bainun with the support of theatrethreesixty, Silkworm explores the hidden lives, origins, and dreams of a group of girls laboring at a silk factory.
Silkworm is directed by Christopher Ling, the Artistic Director of theatrethreesixty and written by Arsyad Azrai, PKK Tuanku Bainun’s Head of Creative Programmes. This production is the 3rd and last production of Season 2 of the Teen Theatre Project.
The story of Silkworm was developed with the support of Be My Protector, an organization working against human trafficking.
