SHORT+SWEET MALAYSIA is a delicious arts festival that had been running in Malaysia for 11 consecutive years! Our aim is to be a platform where our local talents can be shown, regardless of age, gender, race or even language.
Consider Short+Sweet Malaysia 2018 as the ‘ais kacang’ of Malaysian art scene; we welcome all Malaysian to be a part of our festival. This year, Short+Sweet Malaysia 2018 promises a full sweet platter of S+S Film (BRAND NEW category), S+S Song, S+S Stand-up Comedy, S+S Musical, S+S Junior Dance, S+S Dance & S+S Theatre!
The participants had been working very hard to produce 10-minute (or less) performances. We also offer wide variety of awards to be given out to those who stand out. We have over 70 awards in total! They will be judged by key persons in our art industry. But for our special dish, the ‘Audience Choice Award’, the ‘rakyat’ aka the audiences will vote for their favourite productions. In other words, YOU too will play the part of our judges!
This year, we had received lots of promising talents that will surely make your night! So, get your tickets now before it’s too late. We promise you, it will be the sweetest night of your life.
