A continuation of GTF’s annual Sacred Music programme, this concert will take the audience through time, from the beginning of church sacred music until present day. In some pieces, the audience will get to sing with the choir during the concert. Sung by The Messengers, this programme is also an opportunity to nurture local soloists, ensemble and choir singers.
The Messengers were formed in 2010 by a group of music lovers from various Christian denominations, The Messengers Choir seeks to promote sacred music, cultivate future generations of singers, and support the community through fund raising. They are supported by the Fettes Park Baptist Church. Since their founding, the choir has performed internationally on choral concerts.
