BOLD 2.0
It is a concept of being Bold, direct, clear and obvious.
2.0 is a continuation of the previous BOLD exhibition showing work by artist Alaa Shasheet and sculptor Aboud Fares in Aboud’s backyard workshop.
Alaa Shasheet is available to meet visitors and talk about his work on March 28th & 29th, and April 4th & 5th, from 1pm to 6pm.
Alaa Shasheet, was born in Damascus, the capital of Syria. He studied Fine Arts at Damascus University before moving to Malaysia in 2012 to pursue his Masters of Art in International Contemporary Art, then been living there ever since and working in Art Education, Design, and Fine Art.
With a diverse body of artwork, with strong visual vocabulary that includes painting, printmaking, drawing, and mixed media, Shasheet has won critical acclaim for his ability to portray human inner feelings and reflect emotions with the use of strong graphical compositions and lines on canvas, using mixed media.
