Presented by 16strings String Quartet ‘Once Upon A Time’ is a recital that you do not want to miss, especially if you are a chamber music lover. If you’ve ever wondered what soundtracks sounded like back in the old days before modern technology was invented, 16 Strings will show you how it was done – without sound effects – and hopefully, change your impression about stereotypical classical music. The show is kid-friendly, as the night itself will include some storytelling and popular tunes. These date from the 60s up to the present, all of which are childhood favourites of 16 Strings. Enjoy as they take you down memory lane, and let the nostalgic rush put a smile on your face as they present to you the music from the TV shows and films that you grew up with.
