MOMENTS- Big Cities, Small Stories

Life in cities encompasses a spectrum of experiences, ranging from the simplicity
of earning a living to the complexity of fighting for survival. Along the way, we
have encountered stories that evoke empathy, prompt introspection, and provoke
profound contemplation. Amidst this exploration, we have unearthed an infinite
wellspring of tales that demand to be immortalized on paper and canvas alike.
The enchantment lies in the notion that even seemingly mundane occurrences
can be interpreted differently by each person, depending on their unique life
backgrounds and experiences. Through ‘Big Cities Small Stories,’ we have captured
a rich array of emotions and narratives. We invite the audience to explore and
reflect upon our own existence, reconsidering the values and relationships we                                                                                                                                          may have overlooked.

With each artist’s unique style, hues, and brushstrokes, we provide viewers from all
walks of life an opportunity to foster a deeper understanding of the commonalities
and differences that connect us in this concrete jungle. Come explore with us artworks                                                                                                                                  from local artists Brian Tai, Francis Lee, Lee Wee Xian, Shireen Lee and Eve Yap.
