Minta Perhatian : Media Baru

This survey exhibition focuses on art forms in response to the curatorial statement. It features artists who have demonstrated great potential in terms of their material selection, art-making process and meaning construction. The making of an artwork involves a series of processes that can generate further potentials that, in turn, can affect the art ecosystem itself and bring changes to the art of each era. The exhibition presents works selected from the National Collection.

This exhibition aims to assemble new media practitioners from diverse background through National Collection. It serves as a platform to initiate a discourse on media art, as it provides common concerns, as equilibrium between creative expression and theoretical research that could potentially generate local epistemology – for the articulation of cultural practises which intersect between art, media, technology, and contemporary aspects.
