Join the finals of the 4th Migrant and Refugee Poetry Competition, Malaysia.

The event will feature poetry readings by shortlisted poets (Adult and Junior Category) and cultural program followed by the award ceremony.

Our judges include Bernice Chauly, Looi Siew Teip, Carol Leon and Sharon Bakar.

The Migrant and Refugee Poetry Competition, —

Malaysia, is a unique poetry contest that provides a platform for mutual understanding between Malaysians and migrants —

while celebrating the literary talent of migrant workers and refugees in Malaysia.

The event also promotes greater tolerance of multi-culturalism and gives a voice to refugees and lower wage foreign workers.

The partners for this contest include The High Commission of Canada, Malaysia, UNHCR, Tenaganita, KL Writer’s Workshop, I dem Vende,MSRI, HELP University, and The Good Shop.
