KLEX 2017 is happening on 24-26 November. It will be taking place at two artist-run independent art spaces: RAW Art Space (previously known as Findars) and Checkmate Creative, both located at the historical Chinatown area of downtown Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Panggong. This year, we’ll be showing 3 KLEX open programmes from the open call; 5 international guest programmes from Germany, Japan, South Korea and Singapore and artist’s talks. There’ll also be 3 nights of experimental and improvisational music and audio-visual performances featuring local and international musicians, filmmakers and artists. Over 70 experimental short films will be screened and 22 local and international performers will be joining the festival!
