ARTIST’S TALK: JEHABDULLOH JEHSORHOH

Jehabdulloh Jehsorhoh, whose captivating work “The beautiful flower hidden in Patani” (2011) is pictured above, will be at ILHAM to discuss his work and how his Malay heritage influences his artistic practice.
Jehabdulloh graduated as one of the first batch of students from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani campus. He later earned his Master’s in Thai Art from Silpakorn University, Bangkok. He is now a lecturer at Songkla University and also the founder of Patani Artspace in Pattani.
Dr Muhammad Arafat of the National University of Singapore will be moderating.

Jehabdulloh Jehsorhoh adalah antara graduan kelompok pertama dari Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Prince of Songkla University, kampus Pattani. Kini beliau bertugas sebagai pensyarah di fakulti yang sama dan juga pengasas Patani Artspace di Pattani. Jehabdulloh memperoleh ijazah sarjana beliau dalam pengkhususan Seni Thai di Silpakorn University, Bangkok. Sertai bersama artis membincangkan karya-karya beliau dan bagaimana kemelayuan mempengaruhi praktik seni beliau.
