“Messiah” is a composed by George Frideric Handel in 1741. It is not only one of the most popular and frequently performed choral works in Western music, also widely considered as one of the most monumental work in Sacred Music. It tells the story of Jesus Christ, from his birth to his death and resurrection. It consists of three parts and 53 movements, including the famous Hallelujah chorus.
《弥赛亚》是由作曲家韩德尔于1741年创作的神剧。它不但是西方音乐之中最著名，最常被演出的作品之一，更是基督教圣乐里面最重要的作品之一。作品描述耶稣基督从降生、受难，一直到复活升天的事迹。全剧共分成三部分，或53个乐章，其中就包括了家喻户晓的“哈利路亚大合唱”。
