Artistic Lighting Workshop with Azul Adnan (KLPF Workshop)

If you already know how to take good pictures but want to progress and challenge your creativity, then explore the artistic side of photography using artificial light.

It’s not complicated and the lighting used are super cheap!

The Artistic Lighting Workshop will focus on two things:

1. The appreciation of art in photography
2. Shooting artistic photos using inexpensive lighting equipment

The workshop will start with an introduction to allow participants to understand and appreciate photography as an art form and not merely about taking perfect or pretty pictures.

Then there will be a live demonstration on how to take artistic photos using simple lighting, like a torchlight.

All participants will have hands-on experience shooting their own pictures, i.e. trying out new ideas and capturing creative ways of lighting their images.

In the final part of the workshop, participants’ favourite shots will be showcased for comments and feedback.

Note: There will be no Photoshop manipulation involved in this workshop. Images will be created in-camera.

Each participant is required to bring the following:

i. DSLR or Mirrorless camera
ii. Tripod
iii. Camera remote (optional)
