Art Lovers, ART SG returns for its Third Edition this January 2025!

ART SG, the leading international art fair in Southeast Asia, will return for its third edition from January 17 – 19, 2025, at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

The 2025 programme will feature 105 galleries from 30 countries and territories, large-scale, site specific artworks in PLATFORM, a FILM program presented in collaboration with Bangkok Kunsthalle, and a TALKS program with prominent art world thought leaders, including Collecting as Practice curated by Aaron Cezar of the Delfina Foundation, and solo artist talks by Mandy El-Sayegh and Korakrit Arunanondchai.

Malaysia’s vibrant art scene will be represented, with Malaysian galleries and artists making their mark on the global stage:

i) Richard Koh Fine Art (RKFA): An established art gallery founded in 2005 in Malaysia, will present a dynamic line-up of Southeast Asian art at ART SG 2025. Featured Malaysian artists include:

  • Justin Lim (b.1983): A celebrated artist whose works have been exhibited at Art Basel Hong Kong 2023, Jeonbuk Museum of Art, South Korea (2016), Asian Art Biennale 2009, Taiwan, etc.

  • Yeoh Choo Kuan (b.1988): Known for his painterly abstractions mixed with figurative narratives, Yeoh’s work explores themes of spirituality, desire, violence, and the contradictions within the natural world and contemporary life.

ii) The Back Room, an exciting Malaysian art gallery designed to be a cosy, intimate space that platforms bold and alternative art. They will have a solo show by Bornean artist Marcos Kueh in ART SG 2025’s FOCUS sector:

  • Marcos Kueh (b.1995) – a Sarawak-born artist whose works are internationally acclaimed, with pieces held in prestigious collections such as the Stedelijk Museum and Museum Voorlinden.

iii) The TALKS programme at ART SG 2025 will feature a solo talk by Mandy El-Sayegh (b.1985). A London-based, Malaysian-born artist, Mandy is renowned for her interdisciplinary approach, encompassing painting, sculpture, installation, and performance art.

With the art fair coinciding with Singapore Art Week (17-26 January 2025), the entire island will come alive with exhibitions, installations, and cultural activations that are sure to captivate art lovers, collectors, and enthusiasts alike.
