COME JOIN US!Project Spect-Actor uses “Theatre of the oppressed”, an interactive performance to address issues. The sessions starts with games before staging scenarios of oppressions as an invitation for the audience to make suggestions or join the play to solve the conflicts faced by the protagonists. The session will be mediated by an individual called “The Joker”. However, under any circumstance, the audience are not allowed to use violence as a solution.With that, we have 2 performances coming up and details are as the following. Outline:
“Theatre of the oppressed” is an interactive performance. The play starts with games before staging scenarios of oppressions as an invitation for the audience to make suggestions or join the play to solve the conflicts faced by the protagonists. Project Spect-Actor: Theatre of the Oppressed Malaysia

With the recent cases of bullying in the country, Project Spect-Actor is embarking on “Bullying: a Theatre of the Oppressed Showcase” to engage Malaysian youths with Augusto Boal’s “Theatre of the Oppressed”.
