Winner of the ‘Rock The House’ talent search competition at Livehouse this year, RYÖTJONES is a band you definitely need to check out.
They are an astounding eight piece funk/soul band from Kuala Lumpur consisting of Deo Karmawan (guitar), Lim Chu Hang (bass), Ikmal Salim (keys), Clifford Tan (saxophone), Jazmi Jamaluddin (saxophone), Payung (trumpet), Aaron Gideon (drums) & Kyren Thomas (vocals). Currently working on their debut album, they have managed to garner rave reviews from audiences and establishments alike since they debut just six months ago.
With well-composed originals, perfect chemistry and a festival vibe, RYÖT JONES strives to bring the most energetic stage performances to festivals, venues and events within Malaysia and South East Asia.
Taking influences from Jamiroquai, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Earth, Wind & Fire, just to name a few; you know you’re in for a wonderfully funky time!
