COME JOIN US!Project Spect-Actor uses “Theatre of the oppressed”, an interactive performance to address issues. The sessions starts with games before staging scenarios of oppressions as an invitation for the audience to make suggestions or join the play to solve the conflicts faced by the protagonists. The session will be mediated by an individual called “The Joker”. “Theatre of the oppressed” is an interactive performance. With the recent cases of bullying in the country, Project Spect-Actor is embarking on “Bullying: a Theatre of the Oppressed Showcase” to engage Malaysian youths with Augusto Boal’s “Theatre of the Oppressed”.
