Choreographed by acclaimed Bharatanatyam dancer and founder Sheela Raghavan, Ayodhya Putra (Ramayana) will feature Suddha Nrittam, a powerful “pure dance” form accompanied by live percussion. The production also includes a live ensemble performing compositions by celebrated composers Papanasam Sivan and Nirmala Raghavan.
Beyond the performance, the event supports Mahavidya Dance Theatre’s free dance education initiatives for underprivileged children.
