KL Shakespeare Players is now opening its doors to anyone interested in developing their skills in communication, presentation and performance. Here is the chance to work with professionals from the company who will guide you personally from their years of knowledge and experience.
Whether sharing a tale for children or for adults, for fun or for work, the essential skills for storytelling are the same. This series of workshops will give you access to the techniques utilised by KLSP, as well as providing advice on how to apply them to your situation.
Overall Objective of the 8 classes: For all participants to be able to present their own selected story to the group in a style fitting their chosen area of application.
You will explore
– How visualisation helps memorisation
– Telling the same story in different ways and knowing which is best and when
– Bringing stories to life with greater vocal expression and characters that are vivid, yet appropriately performed
