In partnership with the Four Points Sheraton Kuala Lumpur Chinatown, The Art People Gallery is delighted to present a duo show titled “Two Sides of the Sarong” in conjunction with the coming Lunar New Year.
The exhibition features 11 artworks by two young Malaysian Artist: Afi Sulaiman and Florence Khoo, both offer two unique and fresh perspectives on the Peranakan cultural heritage in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown – the bustling, storied pulse of the city.
Just like the stories Chinatown reveals in her alleyways, “Two Sides of the Sarong” is a celebration of the many layers that make up the new Malaysian art and the young people behind the masterpieces featured in this one-of-a-kind exhibition.
The exhibition starts on the 16th of January and until the 5th of February 2023 at the hotel lobby of Four Points by Sheraton, Chinatown.
