Restorasi Tari Perlis is a classical dance production, the first initiative to bring together all the repertoires of Terinai in a single show. It is a collaboration between JKKN and KESUMA Universiti Malaya, funded by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC). This program is part of the Panggung Seni Traditional (PST) 2022. The repertoires are put together by Adjunct Prof. Dr.Zamin Haroon, the Terinai Expert. It is also a collaborative effort between various dance institutions (UM, ASWARA and UPSI) and organizations (JKKN and PADAT) in Malaysia. This multifaceted program encapsulates dance to live music, multi-media presentations, conversations, and demonstrations. Tickets are priced RM20 and RM50. This show is open to anyone who is interested to see and be educated about Malay traditional dance form, Terinai which has been revived and reconstructed through dance research. It is educational and promotes cultural awareness.
