Arabesque, warm colors, sunshine, olives and romance come to mind when one thinks of Iberia. These qualities translate into the music composition of the region, resulting in a compendium of richly colored and rhythmic music with slender and interlacing melody lines not unlike the patterns on arabesque of the region, yet often carrying some folk dance elements.
