GERIMIS Art Project and Centre for Urban Mythologies bring together a visual arts exhibition featuring the works of 6 unique Orang Asal artists working across the intersections of contemporary art, filmmaking, performances and embroidery. This exhibition speculates on the idea of indigenous histories and identities as a practice of epistolaristics, where the indigenous condition, or narrative, is constituted and defined by a multitude of voices and diverse backgrounds, rather than a prescribed set of dogmas and descriptions that are often imposed on indigenous communities.
