Back for a short break in between touring cities with the King & I alongside Ken Watanabe and Kelli O’hara, Aaron Teoh is set to perform an eclectic evening of musicals and jazz standards accompanied by the WVC Jazz Ensemble!
Originally formed as a trio, WVC became a quartet with the addition of their fourth member, Julian Chan who plays the saxophone. Having released five instrumental albums and toured around the region since their inception, WVC has explored different musical genres whilst still maintaining the foundation of jazz in its core. One of their forte is coming up with jazz re-arrangements to suit to the times by transforming unlikely pop tunes, Chinese and oriental classics, and mainstream hit tunes into new jazzy tunes.
