Jungle Book The Musical is a fund-raising event organised to support Penang Peace Learning Centre. A theatrical adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book, the story and emotional content of this musical brings to the forefront the struggles and narratives of the Stateless Rohingya children from Penang Peace Learning Centre.
The different scenes are communicated through a medley of words, music, and movement. Furthermore, the visuals and colours throughout the designs are based on the intricate colours of the Rohingya traditional costumes too.
We hope to bring to light the current struggles faced by the Rohingya children as they try to make Malaysia their new home. This musical serves as their vehicle to voice out their heart’s desires to our community.

Tickets will be going for RM10 for students, RM25 for adults.
