Between The Lines is a powerful, dramatic, poignant yet uplifting study of war. Seen through the eyes of a career soldier reaching the end of his days and possibly his sanity, Between The Lines explores his experiences of war and the effects those experiences had on those around him. The narrative is illustrated with solo and ensemble numbers drawn from musicals such as Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Pippin and Hamilton and features well known local musical theatre performers Melissa Ong, Tria Aziz, Joshua Gui and Kai Chalmers with Dennis Yeap as The Soldier. Directed by Michelle Tan Hui Sze, Between The Lines runs from Thursday 31st May through to Sunday 3rd June at The British International School of KL Theatre in Bandar Utama and launches The Poppies Arts Series, an arts festival running throughout 2018 commemorating the centenary of the 1918 Armistice which brought the First World War to an end.
