| Synopsis : | Known as the 'Bicycle Man' amongst his peers, Chow Chin Chuan is an accomplished watercolourist with a preoccupation for this humble and Eco-friendly means of transportation. These new works show a level of maturity in his handling of the medium and subject matter. It is evident that the artist himself appears in all his paintings, manifested in the form of the utility bicycle. From personal experiences and travels, Chin Chuan paints an allegorical and romantic picture of the bicycle, as it pauses to take in the sights that offers moments of rest and activity afforded in our everyday lives. |
