| Synopsis : | Enjoy the arts in its many manifestations, at this year's JB Arts Festival, which promises you a little bit of everything, from music to dance to drama. Look out for music performances by the T’ang Quartet, Mia Palencia, Big Game Band, the David Gomes Sextet and the RTM Jazz Orchestra, who will present a jazz tribute of popular Malaysian songs. In the Theatre category, Malay Musical Theatre makes a return at this year’s festival, with Kasih Teja Di Muara Muar, the story of Tun Teja. But if you're craving some satiric, acerbic humour, then the folks from the Instant Cafe Theatre are the perfect remedy. The Fringe Festival returns too, with an Art Exhibition called ‘Art for Art’s Sake’, which features works of some of the most well-known contemporary artists from Johor led by Ahmad Zakii Anwar. There is also Vintage Cars and Bikes exhibition and the Vintage Cars and Bikes Show, and five special workshops and clinics. Do check out the website for full details.
