Synopsis : Under the baton of its Principal Conductor, Kevin Field, the MPYO will present its fourth performance, with a repertoire that includes St Paul’s Suite composed by Gustav Holst, Soirees Musicales (Op.9) and Irish Reel by Benjamin Britten, Holberg Suite (Op.40) composed by Edvard Grieg, the operatic Overture: Thieving Magpie by Gioachino Rossini and Symphony No.3 in C minor, a masterpiece composed by Camille Saint-Saens, which will witness the MPYO collaborating with DFP Resident Organist, Dr Marc Rochester.

The MPYO will also perform a traditional Malaysian work entitled Tanah Pusaka, arranged for an orchestral version by local composer Vivian Chua.
